Please pray for our Field Coordinators, Charles, Willie and Julius, as they make plans for travel in Africa this year to make important follow-up visits with our FCBH partners. Also, pray that God will bring in the funding for new FCBH language programs in Nigeria (Ebira, Eggon, & Obolo), Cameroon (Fulfulde, Pidgin, Bassa), Kenya (Bamba, Borana), South Africa (Zulu), and
Uganda (Luganda).
Burkina Faso: Pray for the funding for the FCBH programs in Burkina Faso both through the Bible Society and SIL/Wycliffe. The recording of the Sissala New Testament begins in early February.
Cameroon: The Kako New Testament is in process of being recorded. Please keep the team, readers and equipment covered in prayer.
Kenya: Pray for the recording of the Embu New Testament slated to begin in March! Over 429,000 people will be able to hear Jesus speak to them in their heart language when it is completed.
Burkina Faso: Pray for the funding for the FCBH programs in Burkina Faso both through the Bible Society and SIL/Wycliffe.
Chad: Please keep Charles Fumadorh in prayer as he travels to Chad to visit the FCBH programs later this month.
Democratic Republic of Congo: Pray that funding to expand FCBH programs will be forthcoming.
Kenya: The Kenya Service Center requests prayer for the planned recording of the Jur Mondo recording in Sudan, and that all will go well on the research trip in southern Sudan. Continue praying for FCBH efforts in Tanzania and Ethiopia in collaboration with JESUS Film that God's favor would remain upon the evangelists and volunteers as they reach out to the villages. Please pray for divine health among the staff, and thank God for the successful recording of the Kirundi New Testament that is now being mixed and edited. Please keep Julius Kamau, Director of the Kenya Service Center and Regional Coordinator, in prayer as he travels to Malawi and Zambia to follow up with the FCBH programs.
Mali: The Miniyanka language is being recorded. Please keep the team and readers in prayer.
Nigeria: Gokana recording is in process. Praise! The Nigerian Port Authorities have released the shipment of Bible tapes from customs. Thank you for praying.
